Two Easy Valentine’s Treats To Make With Your Kids
Can you believe it is February of 2021 already!? Honestly I cannot. This coming weekend it’s already time to celebrate Valentine’s Day and like most holidays in the last year, it snuck up on me. No matter what your family does to celebrate the day of love, these treats are simple and enjoyable for everyone.

2 bags of Orville Redenbacher’s Tender White Popcorn Otherwise, if you have an air popper, use that. I used mine!
1 package Vanilla Candy Coating I used the Kroger brand Vanilla Coating because that’s what I had on hand, I think this would also be delicious with Chocolate Coating
Directions
- Pop your popcorn! Put into a large bowl and add M&M’s.
- Melt the white chocolate according to packet directions.
- Spread a long piece of parchment paper onto your counter. Dump the popcorn and M&M’s onto the parchment and spread out evenly.
- Pour the melted candy over the popcorn and M&M’s. Using a spatula (rubber or plastic would work), fold the candy into the popcorn and M&M’s, careful to keep the ingredients on the parchment.
- Once you have coated the popcorn and M&M’s with the melted candy, spread out across the parchment and allow to dry. Scoop into festive bags and share!
One in a Minion Milanos
Using your choice of Milano Cookie flavor, some candy eyes, and some blue and black cookie decorator icing, you can create Valentines Minions! I made these for my son and his 3rd grade class a couple of years ago. They were fun to decorate and a hit with the kids.

I used Mint Milano Cookies. Wilton Blue Cookie Icing, Wilton Black Cookie Icing, and Wilton Candy Eyeballs. Both of these treats come together pretty quickly and make the holiday fun and memorable for you and your family. We hope you enjoy, and please share with us traditions you take part in on Valentine’s Day!
